Council for the Living
The Council for the Living includes people with various knowledges and skills important for the functioning of Speakers for the Living. Of course, knowledge of ecology is important but so are philosophy, communication and public administration. As worldviews tilt and paradigms change, all knowledge from all perspectives is important.
Members of the council are willing to share their knowledge with Speakers for the Living when asked and advise them on issues they face. The functioning Speakers for the Living are themselves members of the council as they all have their own forms of expertise as well. In addition, the councillors are ambassadors of the Zoöp movement.
The overarching request to Council members is to help organise the conversation between different beings, different species, different cultures. This will not prove easy but it is no less important for that. We need to recognise that there are more voices than our own, and when we learn that, we also learn better who we are. If we learn to see ourselves as part of all life again, we might learn to take better care of life. And by extension, for ourselves.
