Arjen Mulder

Arjen Mulder is a writer. He has published several collections of essays and novels, including ‘The woman for whom Cesare Pavese committed suicide’. For ‘What is life? Queeste van een bioloog', he received the Dr Wijnaendts Francken Prize. His new book ‘Friendship with Trees’ is a down-to-earth account of his discovery of how to communicate with trees. Because it turns out that trees like to communicate, not only invisibly with each other, but also with animals and people.
