Susan Boonman-Berson

Susan contributes to Zoöps from her experience as an animal-human geographer and she also pursues a sustainable relationships between humans and wildlife (big and small) through her company Bear at Work. She trains, lectures, writes and investigates the broad topic of human-wildlife relationships and specifically human-animal conflicts and coexistence between humans and wild animals. Her vision centres on human-wildlife relationship and wild animals as partners to take into account in decision-making processes. She has conducted research on this for many years. Additionally she is a member of the board of, among others, the Centre for Animal Human Studies and the international platform ENCOSH.
