Felix van Hoften

Felix van Hoften is an ecological economist and researches the future of the economy from post-growth principles.
Ecological economics focuses on the interaction and balance between ecosystems (nature’s household budget) and economies (human household budget). Felix works at the University of Amsterdam and is also a researcher-lecturer at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, where he contributes to the renewal of economics education within the Meaningful Economy tradition. In 2022 he published his first book, De golven en de Kaap, with themes such as meaning, inequality and justice.
