As part of Soundcamp London, and in parallel with connected camping and listening sites in Glasgow, Berlin, Yorkshire, Crete, and The Netherlands, we will tune in to the dawn chorus - the polyphonic swell of early morning birdlife - and livestream it for listeners around the world.
A temporary acoustic commons. A distributed ear. Across geographies, microphones open at daybreak. Sound travels. Attention gathers. The earth speaks in overlapping frequencies.
We invite you to arrive slowly and let your senses recalibrate to the hum of grass and insects, wind currents, birdsong, and the low murmur of urban edges returning to soil, because sometimes the most interesting sounds are underground.
