J D Swann

J D Swann is a Speaker for the Living at Three Rivers.

J D Swann based in Thamesmead, South-East London will be advocating for the unique environment of TUMP 39, an ex-military site long left untouched which has recently become accessible to humans again. He communicates with local and wider communities often through guided walks and can be consulted particularly on ornithological concerns, devising routes, field recording sound, and how to interact with other lifeforms. He has worked widely with organisations in the UK such as Three Rivers Bexley, Estuary Festival, Bow Arts, Brighter Futures, InspiralLondon, Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park and RSPB Rainham Essex with Kinetika Arts. He has live streamed the Dawn Chorus in various locations in London and Isle of Portland, Dorset as part of the annual Soundcamp weekend. He has also created two series on RTM.fm (Radio Thamesmead), ‘Thamesmeads Best Beaks’ and ‘Thamesmead Wild Chorus’.
