Helen Weeres

Helen Weeres has a background in poetry, literary and cultural analysis, gender studies and works in the (research) arts together with regenerative farmers, scientists and other artists. Poetry is the common thread with which Helen wants to write about the anthropocentric worldview that characterizes their culture. Their work focuses on the exploration of relationships in human-inclusive ecosystems, disappeared (pagan) rituals and folklore. Helen's work as a maker takes the form of performances, written texts, installations and (inter)active meetings.

Helen is a culture builder and transition accelerator. In collaboration with regenerative farm 't Gagel on interdisciplinary residency program ERF (eat - reconnect - farm) for artists, scientists, policy makers, culinary professionals and farmers. In collaboration with Platform DIS, Helen is working on the realization of FRUITING BODIES, a network of residencies on regenerative farms.
