Buitenplaats Brienenoord is an interdisciplinary rehearsal space for the future. A place where nature, art and social interaction come together. From here we rehearse for a sustainable future where everyone feels welcome, understood and safe. Where we pay extra attention to nature and others.
As a rehearsal space for the future, Buitenplaats Brienenoord primarily, but not exclusively, gives space to children, young people, students and young makers. In the shelter of the city we jointly search for new tools for tomorrow, with imagination as the guiding principle. The building forms the physical basis for this. A place where there is time and space to research and experiment. Always with the underlying question as a starting point: "Are we able to change?"
